About me

As an EAE, I offer comprehensive adhesive bonding advice and training. I am the responsible adhesive bonding supervisor (vKAP) for various companies in accordance with the DVS^® 3311 guideline.

For over 10 years I have been working as an examiner for DVS^® and since 2021, I am a lecturer for adhesive bonding seminars, e.g. for the qualification as a European Adhesive Specialist - EAS (Klebfachkraft) or European Adhesive Bonder - EAB (Klebpraktiker).

Quality management, project management and initiation are the cornerstones of my expertise. Over 20 years of professional experience and the application of the “Six Sigma Black Belt” project manager training, define my work and methodology.

Activities

• Responsible adhesive bonding supervisor (vKAP) according to DVS^® 3311:

  • Layout & design of bondings, adhesive selection & documentation
  • Standards TL A-0023, DIN EN 17460 (formerly DIN 6701), ISO 21368 (formerly DIN 2304-1), DIN 2304-2 (shipbuilding); integrate the "bonding" process into the existing quality standard(s)
  • Create work instructions & train the executing personnel

• Technical project management:

  • Preparation of specifications and requirements
  • Accompany first article inspection
  • Create risk assessments & apply "Six Sigma" quality management method

• Production optimisation:

  • Carry out technical analysis of existing plants
  • Supervise the implementation of production optimisation
  • Coordinate and document validation runs & apply "Six Sigma" quality management method

• Trainer and examiner:

  • Examination chair for DVS^® in the field of adhesive bonding technology (since 2012)
  • Lecturer for EAB and EAS courses
